Marija Ruygrok is the founding member of Accents Training. She has a B.A. Honours degree in Dramatic Art from the University of the Witwatersrand, where she majored in Acting, Directing and Drama in Education.
Marija has more than twenty years of experience, training and coaching people of all ages in Speech, Drama, English, Presentation Skills and Telephone Techniques. She, herself was trained in Voice Production by one of South Africa’s leading voice tutors, Joan Little.
Marija has been part of the development of many leading politicians and public figures such as:

- Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters (Miss SA & Miss World 2017)
- The late Dr Aggrey Klaaste (Editor of the Sowetan)
- Ian Thomas (Internationally renown motivational speaker).
Marija is also an accomplished public speaker and inspires and motivates audiences at many seminars and conferences. She is also a member of NSASA (the National South African Speaker’s Association) and IFFPS (the International Federation for Professional Speakers).
Marija enjoys contributing to community projects and has experience in using drama as a form of therapy and expression with adults living with physical and mental disabilities.
She trained as a Life Coach with internationally acclaimed life coach and author, Martha Beck and Master Life Coach, Judy Klipin. She is a qualified Spiritual Director and has studied spirituality through the Jesuit Institute in Johannesburg

Dr Maggie Tshule
Dr. Maggie Mapaseka Tshule has a PhD in Linguistics; MEd (Psychology); BA (Speech & Hearing) Therapy from the University of the Witwatersrand. Maggie is a partner at Accents Training and a Speech and Language Therapy Private Practitioner. Prior to joining Accents training, she was a lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand and MEDUNSA Universities. Maggie is a visionary and decisive project manager, a confident, disciplined and resilient people’s person, whose primary goal is the enrichment of the community.
Maggie specializes in working with people who present with Voice, Language, Stuttering, Pronunciation, and other related disorders of communication. In addition, she facilitates training in Professional Telephone Skills, English Improvement, Voice Training, Public Speaking, Presentation Skills, Assertiveness Training and General Communication Skills Training. She has received specialist training in Fluency Disorders from Northwestern University in the USA and has been a member of the Stuttering Foundation of America since 1994. She has also been a member of the Fluency Special Interest Division of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Maggie has given Radio and TV presentations on various aspects of her expertise.
