Meet Marija
I am the founding member of Accents Training with more than twenty years of experience training and coaching people in Speech, Drama, English, Presentation Skills and Telephone Techniques.
I was trained in Voice Production by one of South Africa’s leading voice tutors, Joan Little and have since been part of the communication development of many leading politicians and public figures.

The aim of the programme is not to change your accent but rather to improve clarity. If people have to constantly ask you to repeat yourself, or tell you that they didn’t understand what you have said, then this course is for you.

Yes, you will be asked to submit a recording of yourself reading a passage which will then be assessed by the speech expert and recommendations will be made about which vowels and consonants need to be focused on. You will also have the benefit of the 1:1 coaching session with Marija, who will be able to assist you with any difficulties and answer any questions you may have.
Yes, this course is designed to be completed at your own pace and you can repeat it as many times as you want. It is estimated that with 30 minutes of practise per day, you will see great results within 2-3 months. This is dependent on your own personal dedication to the training.
